In antithesis to the project Synthetic Syncretism – Inverted Syncretism argues against the materiality of the marble as a narrative element. The inverted syncretism is an idle self-referential selfish object, emphasizing the technique and fetish within the materiality over the origin of the object and evolving it from a state of documentation into the object itself. Inverted Syncretism does not allow interpretation or ambivalence – demanding a material relationship, neglecting its origin and becoming the Doppelgänger.
